No.1 Headfort Place is an existing 4 storey terrace house dating back to the 1930s, located along Headfort Place in Belgravia. The scheme provides alterations across the existing accommodation.
An extension to the basement frontage provided a roof-light adjacent to the entrance steps at ground floor to form a small utility area. At ground floor level the living room was enlarged to extend entirely over the new kitchen, with a glass wall and roof enclosing this space to maximise daylight intake.
At second floor, internal alterations created a larger roof lantern light over the existing staircase, which extends to reach roof level, allowing easy access for roof maintenance works.
